Shutting Down the Server

Use this page to shut down, restart, or to schedule a shutdown or restart of the server.

To shut down or restart the server

1. On the primary navigation bar, choose Maintenance.
2. Choose Shutdown.
3. Choose the task you want to perform.
4. Choose OK to confirm your decision.

   If you have chosen to restart the server appliance, the Restarting page will display.

Note   The Restarting page checks periodically to determine whether the server is back online. If the Restarting page detects that the server is online, it automatically returns to the default page.

To schedule a shutdown or restart of the server appliance

1. From the primary navigation bar, choose Maintenance.
2. Choose Shutdown.
3. Choose Scheduled Shutdown.
4. Choose the scheduled shutdown settings you want.
5. Choose OK.

Note   To cancel a currently-scheduled event, select the No scheduled shutdown or restart button.
