Modifying Folder Properties
From the Folder Properties page, you can set or change the folder name, get details about the folder type, size, and location, as well as compress the data in a folder.
To change the name of a folder
- On the primary navigation bar, choose Shares.
- From the Shares page, choose Folders.
- Use the Object/Task Selector to navigate to the directory containing the folder you want to modify.
- Select the check box for the folder you want.
- In the Tasks list, choose Properties.
- Select the General tab, and then type the new folder name in the Name box.
- Choose OK.
To compress a folder
- On the primary navigation bar, choose Shares.
- From the Shares page, choose Folders.
- Use the Object/Task Selector to navigate to the directory to which you want to add the new folder.
- In the Tasks list, choose Properties.
- Select the Compress tab, and then select the Compress contents of this folder to save disk space check box.
- Select whether to either Apply changes to this folder only, or to Apply changes to this folder, subfolders, and files.
- Choose OK.
